Default [Crysis]Crysis:Warhead Expansion

Edit:Accidently on hardware news, can a mod move to Game industry news please?

The Warhead expansion for Crysis is coming out on Fall '08,which means we have 2-3 months for the release.

Minimum Requirements will be the same as Crysis itself, not Officially announced, but Crytek lies about it will run on a worse system than these specs.Still i am giving it down here.

CPU: Intel P4 2.8Ghz or AMD equivalent
RAM: 1GB
Video Card: 6800GT (256mb) or ATI/AMD Radeon 9800 Pro (256mb)
HDD Space: 16GB
OS: Microsoft Windows [XP and Vista]
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c Compatible

Same thing applies for Warhead.

Got a 6800GT?Go buy Crysis!

We are playing Psycho this time,Nomad near us.Story is not fully out yet,but it's told to be Koreans or new Aliens.

LOL would that surprise you so much? Cevat Yerli lied about so many things before Crysis was released....such as x64 performance, multi-threaded performance (%15-30 more per thread...right)........the list goes on.

I'm still really excited about this game though, and I've already pre-ordered.

Wow thats ignorant, you havent even seen gameplay so how can you even say that. People learn from failures, and if they saw the game flopped they will want to improve on that.

I've just looked at the back of my Crysis case. The minimum CPU spec is 2.8GHz for XP, 3.2GHz for Vista, with a little note at the bottom about that being for a Pentium 4. For a Core 2 Duo CPU, you need one running at 2.0GHz in XP and 2.2GHz in Vista and an AMD Athlon 2800+ in XP, 3200+ in Vista... Oh and you need 1.5GB of RAM for Vista vs 1.0GB for XP, basically all of the requirements are higher if you're running Vista, but anyone here knows that already... I'd really like to see how well a system like this:

Windows XP
AMD Athlon XP 2800+
1.0GB RAM
6800GT 256MB
12GB Hard drive
8x DVD drive

Would run Crysis, even on lowest settings...

As for it not being a good game, that's up to the player but I personally think it's a decent game, it has a lot of faults (besides the technical ones) but I've played much worse games than Crysis. I think I'll wait and see how Warhead turns out before grabbing that, though.
