That is what I wanted to hear. I hated the one central character in the FF games. FF3 US side was the greatest because it didn't force one player to always be in your party.

I don't know. I always thought a central character would be necessary. Without one how would they make the storyline personal when you have no one to relate to.
I'm interested in how this will play out! I am pleased to hear about Advent Children been free on Blu Ray aswell. Even though I already have it on DVD it is just nice to get such a good product for free. ![]()

I thought in FFX you can change any character out at any time right?

FF3 did a really good job at keeping the story personal because everyone had their own personal stories. Some players even died if you didn't save them. Special cut scenes for taking certain people into your group when entering areas. For those reasons FF3 had the highest reply value in my opinion.

A couple of things I didn't like about FF:
__________________It's the first FF where they started talking. I converted slowly but before I was against talking in my FF games. I didn't enjoy the linear storyline. The second I had a chance to explore it was time to fight the last boss. FF I thought was suppose to be a huge adventure where you actually get to explore. The mini game was blitz ball. That game was way to easy. The battles were somewhat boring and a little on the easy side. I didn't ever stop to the level till the final fight. I just didn't have the strength to take the boss down in my late 20's with the time limit. I didn't like the level point system. The storyline was a little lacking from what I expected an FF game to be like. For me the best games are the old school ones. I like having players who are good at magic as well as players who are good at sword fighting. Think FF2. Where you really only had one summoner. I'm also more of a back in the day RPG style type of person. Sadly FF9 was suppose to be their last game from that era.

FFX - I hated the story, I hated the characters, and I hated the environments.
