At the Leipzig Games Convention today, Konami announced that its horror title will be coming home to roost on PCs alongside the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 releases of Silent Hill: Homecoming this November.

Silent Hill: Homecoming tells the story of World War II vet Alex Shepherd, who has gone back to his hometown, Shepherd's Glen. However, rather than settle into a peaceful life after facing the horrors of war, he'll soon discover that all is not as he left it and he will have to face an army of undead monsters if he has any hope of leading a normal life.

The game description sounds eerily like a zombie shoot em up which the SH series has not been geared towards (survival/horror). I remember playing SH1 and 2 in the dark, such a bad idea...
