Looks nice, but a few things:

1. Its Sony, it will be years before they can say "Actual gameplay footage" and have people believe them.

2. Looks like a limited version of God of War, but without all of the gore and awesomeness. It may well be possible for that level of graphics, but with the way they are doing it it might as well be pre-rendered. I'd like to see them do this in a fast-paced, dynamic world, but its too bad they can't, maybe with a QX9770 and a 4870X2 (or two), but certainly not with the Cell and whats basically a 7800 GTX.

1. Did you see the demo footage? People played it at Leipzig.

2.God of War? LOL I dont think this is a hack n slash game here. Completely different genre. Im hoping for a Shenmue type of game.

God of War is a hack and slash? Maybe, but have you ever played the game? God of War and Heavy Rain use basically the same button combo system from what I've seen of the preview.



And please, by all means, show me some actual footage of gameplay. You know, a shot with a person holding a ps3 controller starting at a screen playing heavy rain, because all I've found is the demo they showed on stage, and I don't think you would be so naive as to believe that.



Honestly I think this is just going to be another one of those games that gets a 9.0+ rating and maybe moves 20,000 copies. They've said it themselves, its not a game, its not quite a movie, its that space inbetween thats reserved for the niche of independant film makers and people who consider themselves better than humanity because they take every opportunity to point out whats wrong with "american culture". If I want the ability to control the story based on my own actions I'll play Mass Effect, because if the demo (which I know isn't the actual story) is any indication of the storyline its going to be a snoozer.

I've played God of War - you're comparing 2 completely different games of 2 completely different genres dude.

Take a trip to Leipzig. I believe it is ingame, and they wouldn't be allowed to actually lie about that to the people especially if there is a game demo right there at the convention.

This hands on said they saw it in real time.

You'll think it will be a snoozer (if the demo has any indication of story) but I don't think it will. I hope you realize it's called an "opinion". You might not like it, but I may (and do). But at this point, there isn't enough to judge (like what you're doing).
