well, the LE of MGS4, the blu-ray making of, konami was very opposed putting it on another system because he specifically made everything for the cell design of ps3 so porting would be very different

That may be true but I am betting that anyone with an 8800GT or thereabouts could run it with brute force alone (if it was a bad port).

The context of the sentence is all wrong to infer a PC port. All this is is a frustration moment that is getting picked and twisted into something it's not.

Because as he said, he wanted to do PC so people stopped asking him questions that all lead back to the *360 vs. PS3* console war.

And part of the context that I got was that he wasn't implying about a port, but an imaginary scenario with MGS4 being on PC from the start and not PS3. It would have, like HeartOfAHydra said, elimatinated all the headaches and annoyances he has encountered from day one with the console comparisons.

Which is why a port would be good, and would bring in massive loads of cash to Kojima. So why not do it?
