I have NFS 1(3DO ) , NFS2 & NFS2SE( PC ), NFS3( PC ) NFS High Stakes ( PC ), NFS porsche unleashed (PC ) , NFS Hot pursuit 2( PC & Xbox ) and the last NFS game which i plan to buy is Most Wanted.

I am never buying anymore NFS games, until they go back to their roots. Which is why i plan to become a modder for the NFS community sometime next year, and keep the old school games going. NFS series has suck since that underground crap. They seem to have went back to their roots somewhat with Most wanted, but other then that, NFS series is going down hill. So until they go back to the Hot cars, Weather, police, and old school NFS tracks, and cool techno/rock and trance music, i will not be buying anymore NFS Games.

Undercover already sucks.

Yes they need to do the following:

1) Have all those High class Muscle Cars back in there.. Along with stats, pretty internals, etc etc... Test Drive Unlimited had this, NFS had it waaaay before then. The whole point of the Need for Speed was to drive those cars at high Speed on the highways, cars you would probably NEVER ever get to drive.. Cops were an added bonus too.

2) Bring back the internal view.. I mean FFS the reason they got rid of it was when NFS was running on Voodoo cards and the dash cam looked like ****, so they dropped it.. its been dropped ever since... GRiD and TDU both do the Dash cam beautifully, bring it back.

3) No crap Drift racings.. I love GRiD, but I totally hate drift racing. I havent competed in any drift events in GRiD because of it.. I hate it... NFS needs to keep away from it too, as they keep trying to put it in there in some way, shape or another..

4) Stop trying to put a story to it... Its Lame EA... Lame.... NFS does not need a story... Im glad GRiD did away with it too as the Toca Race Driver games sucked because of it too.. We dont need a CaRPG ok.... its a stupid idea...

Man, I wonder if this will be like NFS hot pursuit 2--anyone remember playing that game and heavily modifying the physical attributes of the cars (engine, suspension, gear ratios, etc.)? It could get pretty ridiculous at times...

I enjoyed the non-police pursuit NFS's as much as I enjoyed the ones with police pursuits (well, the ones that didn't suck anyway...lol). I think there's a market for releases like porsche unleashed (one of my all time favorite racing games) and underground/2 AND the police-chase based ones. But I agree with previous sentiments--the NFS series doesn't really need a story line for them to be enjoyable.

Totally pumped. I hope they have the full implementation of the G25 and 6-speed shifter would be great! ProStreet, game itself, sucked, but i loved the feel of it. Grid is lots of fun too, but I just prefer my good old cop chases.

I do agree however that the In-Car view should be back. I love however that they have Muscle cars, with the exotics and the tuners. I only drive muscle cars, but i like to prove that someone who can really drive, will blow the doors off of any other car.
