Video game movies are risky business. Most of them turn out crap lol. Best ones out far as am concerned are both Mortal Combats and Doom. I sense this street fighter sucking like the last one though lol.

Anyone remember the first SF movie with Jean Claude Van Damme? It was HORRIBLE!.

i hope they call it Street Fighter.
since the first movie was arbitrarily titled Street Fighter 2 (as they had SF2 chars in it) we just need to further confuse everyone eitherway, gotta love crappy game-based movies

This is why the Mortal Kombat and Doom movies were as good as they were, Doom is just s shoot em up and for mortal combat all you need is some nice martial artists. I WILL be watching the DBZ movie thats on its way out though. Ofcourse it will probably suck but its DBZ damnit.

My only gripe about 'game' films is that they don't resemble the line of games what so ever. For example:
Doom....well nothing like Doom to be honest.....at all. But then Doom never really have a story line to begin with. They couldn't exactly make a movie about 'run to the blue room and get green key, run to green room and get red key...now for level 2  'Hitman.....AGENT 47 SHOULDN'T HAVE EMOTIONS.....simple as that. Mortal Kombat, I can't actually complain about this one to be honest. But just because Hitman and Doom were not about the games, it doesn't make them bad films, i rather enjoyed them to be honest. I'm pretty stoked about the Max Payne movie though, it seems true to the games character and story, looks impressive.
