For those who are wondering what gameplay might be like; this is an early video i found that shows some of the early alpha work and gameplay. There are several problems with it, including the fact that there is no mech animation but it will give some idea of what some of the gameplay is like, mainly the vehicle and air vehicle gameplay. Here is a listing of some of some videos posted by the developer on youtube.

This feels like BF2142...Id love to see a mod just like that with infantry in FPS...would be awesome.

Been a mechwarrior for years now, it was the start of my online gaming. I've had my eye on the mod and the forums for some time, since the beginning almost.
__________________For many of us this will be an epic leap forward, because there are many who still play mechwarrior 4, it is time to move on! Not too mention the detail the devs are putting into this mod. Much anticipation indeed, and I will be buying crysis for the sole purpose of playing this mod only. Let us hope it sheds new light on a much respected and needed community!
