This fills my pants with anticipation

If they release a buggy & unfinished product then they will only keep dedicated fans beyond the first few weeks/months. I think they're right for holding it back but as I've said many times they started hyping it too early, but tbh if it's as good as it looks and as polished as it should be then it'll draw a huge following irregardless of how long they make us wait.

lol i'm a fan of "it'll be done when it's done". but, i can't wait to see how it pans out.

also i don't quite get the DNF tie-in.

Duke's dev was paid for, this is a fan mod done on their own time.
don't see how "just get it out" would do the fan team doing it any sort of justice at all.

Wow this is awesome. I don't own Crysis and this just may be reason enough to finally pick up a copy.

OMG!!! 3:27 of Actual Gameplay Footage

MWLL Weekly Update XIV - July09/02
MWLL news
Written by AoP
Sunday, 12 July 2009
Welcome to this issue of the Weekly Update by MechWarrior: Living Legends, a Crysis total conversion modification. The delayed release and huge content make this update issue thirteen and fourteen, covering the first two weeks in July.

July is a already a few days old and development is still going at a steady and pretty high pace. This week, we've got something for you that has been demanded for quite some time: actual gameplay footage. The trailer, named "Walking With Giants&quots, brings to you three and a half minutes of unedited, unscripted actual gameplay straight from the team's weekly playtests.

Trailer: Walking With Giants

More than three minutes of gameplay footage with music from the talented hands of Mike Jennings from Sunpost Music. Enjoy!

As always, Youtube has a HD version of this video which you can check out here.

Playtest Impressions

Again, here are a few pictures from this week's playtest.

Edit:

I thought I should mention that the HD video loads a bit slowly but it actually has enough resolution to look Better in fullscreen (or atleast it looks better on my 1280x800 laptop screen)

I'm assuming if you're underwater that it is much more difficult to overheat.

They did pretty good with something similar in MW4, where you would overheat more quickly on a desert map, but it would be slower on a snow map. I think walking in the water also helped with heat in MechAssault.

Even going back to Mercenaries(The good one, not MW4 Merc.) if you were in water you could keep from overheating. I used to set all my heat depleting items in my legs and then on maps with water just sit in water so no worries of overheating

I'm sure they did that with this.
