lol what im saying is , is downloading games is not considered theft in the eyes of the law , it is more on the intellectual rights that is being violated , only "physical" objects can be "stolen" in the eyes of the law.

soo whoever says "piracy is theft" , that aint correct.

more like "Piracy is infringing on copyright laws"

Condemning piracy is okay and all but when you get people coming out saying how now they support DRM or that because of this the government should step in and regulate the internet this whole thing is getting out of hand.

I don't understand how this is such a personal matter to some people that they simply cannot help themselves from coming here and insulting others, acting all righteous and generally being thick headed about the whole thing.

Some of you have taken piracy to a lever comparable to global warming or the global financial crisis.

Also when you talk about it you reiterate the same stupid arguments ("Piracy is stealing, piracy is stealing, ....") make horrible analogies ("Pirating a game is JUST like stealing a car") and try to deny anybody else the right to an opinion ("I don't want to hear about it, piracy is stealing."). When you are prov-en wrong you simply ignore the post or go back to one of the things mentioned above.

Honestly I get the impression that all or at least most of you so called anti-pirates are doing this because it's a new trend and it's cool to be in the anti-pirates team. And you don't expect to win by providing correct arguments but by simply reiterating the same flawed ones over and over again hoping that you'd wear the opposition down.

But what you're really doing is making a mess out of this forum so I suggest you stop posting so much or come up with better arguments -preferably both.

Debit cards didn't and couldn't put the US economy in the trouble it's in. There's a difference between debit cards and credit cards. The fault lands on people who bought more house than they could afford, mortgage companies giving out loans to people with questionable credit, and automakers not building cars the people want to buy.

Bottom line in this is: Copyright infringement is illegal. People who do illegal things are criminals. Criminals are scumbags(IMHO). Try not to be a scumbag. OK?

Different country, different morals, different laws. Each society on Earth has it's own moral values, and those are reflected in the laws they make. A large number of Muslim countries prohibit porn and alcohol because it is offensive to their religious beliefs. Seeing as how I am not from a Muslim country I don't have the same morals as they do. But in any case, people who willfully break the law are scumbags as far as I'm concerned.

ummm..there will always be priates for videos games. no matter how much yelling, crying, threatening, screaming, arguing, poo slinging or anything else we do....they will still be there.

Stop yelling at one another. cause hoesntly im pretty sure most of you people who say you bought the games legally have downloaded and pirated in the past. and how much music and video do you have on your computers that can be considered pirated?

please every just shut up. these arguments will never end, nobody is ever the winner for this crap. blah blah blah i pirated this, i pirated that blah blah

your dumb, no your dumb, you should buy it cause otherwise im gonna yell at you on the forums RAWR!

look..let it go. I have gone out and wasted countless dollars on games. Some are awesome and well worth the price and others have been a huge kick in the rump. I have downloaded games, but also at the same time i will buy the newest game out. Pirates download this stuff for many reasons. Money, lazy, jsut to have...w/e their reasons are its fine. But think about it this way too....pirates if they get a game and its terrible, they dont suffer for it...while me and other legal patrons will blow 50 dollars on a game only to find that 15 minutes after installing it realize that the game sucks noodles.

jsut let it go...it sucks, i know but just leave it alone....these threads are nothing but FLAME FLAME FLAME FLAME FLAME.....

but your welcome to flame me all you want after this...i could careless but this i guess gives you more fuel for the fire...
