I somewhat wish they'd go back to their anime-ish roots, like the retro Final Fantasy games. I'd like to see how the PS3 could make a game like that somewhat similar to Dragon Quest VIII/Tales of Vesperia (I'm just tired of the some ole-same ole). And since Dragon Quest X is coming for the Wii, its not going to look as well as it would on the 360/PS3.

X's story I found bland. I did end up playing through the game twice though.
I didn't beat X-2 on 100% because I thought it was terrible too. I couldnt do it a second time. The plot around X was really empty imo.
