Yep. After you discover it you can go back to those places. Otherwise one would spend hours and hours just getting to places they;ve already been to.

that makes no sense at all, especially at that resolution. you must have had some other sort of issue with the video card then. i have a 9600gt (probably about half as fast as that 4850 you used to have, just a bit slower than 3870) and it can run it 1680*1050 at a decent level (obviously didn't crank view distance etc) but stuff like texture res and models and everything was cranked.

so yeah. you must have had some other problem with it because that game should NEVER make that card come close to struggling, especially at 1024*768.
