Yeah. Their business model is great, they sell expansions instead of sub fees. But it's your choice every time to upgrade, not a $15/month payment that can be a complete pain to remove.

But it kind of sucks to come in THIS late in the game - to access all the content, you've gotta drop a decent amount of cash on it.

I quit Guild Wars recently after achieving God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals. Got bored of doing endless UWSC runs.

Not enough people play it anymore - maybe this will be a good thing for GW to try and strengthen the numbers again.

You'll like City of Heroes much more than Freedom Force. I haven't played FF in a good while and when I did it was a very short time and didn't compare to CoH by any standards.
