YES! One of the best mech games to date. And what was a beautiful one at that. I've been dieing for a third, but I thought they ditched the idea long ago like Capcom did with Megaman Legends 3.

I would be all over that, two great games (Though the second was better as Anubis wasn't kicking your ass up and down the block as in the first...)

If they can bring 1 and 2 to the PSP (wouldn't be that hard to do tech wise) then I'm in.

I was a fan of the Phalanx (I think it was called that. Kinda like a blue barrage of rape in any direction you choose)

In any case, I stomped on Anubis at the end, literally as soon as he teleported (Zero Shift I think) I would follow instantly...oh well, good times, great game and he better go forth with the third.

Yeah, but can the PSP play Crysis?

No, seriously--how would the controls be? It's been damn 5 years since I played 2nd Runner, and I don't quite remember them. I remember the face buttons being boost, melee, guns, and your secondary weapon...what were the the shoulder buttons for?

*edit* Oh yeah, with the tech that ZOE/2nd Runner ran on back then (and still looked DAMN beautiful), you can only imagine how gorgeous it'd look now.

I'm all in for a third one. There's never been a mech game that had better controls. Armored Core For Answer sits quietly on my shelf and might not ever get taken out again.

well now i guess it's time to mail spam...

but ya, i think my favorite combo was Naked Jehuty + Homing Missiles. on the plus side it made that always-annoying fight with Leo and Vic Viper last all of 5 seconds.
or just running around with Wisp. there's always something awesome about beating enemies with their comrades or misc environmental bits
