good point, and i agree with it. it's just not something i really enjoy.
it's a third of the reason why i never got into TF2, just looked dorky to me.

an mmo in crytek would be horrible yes, but why cant we have the size of the lightsaber be proportionate to the hand? or did they say that would be fixed?

if it comes out and looks awesome even with cartoony, i would still pass it up. im not a monthly payment gamer...i cant do just one game at a time either, i enjoy 3-4 games at a time...ideally..

.....*sigh* i will pay once for a great game, and have several times...simply put. and we should note that there are many more games that do not have a monthy fee that are awesome.

You are paying for continued support, and game content to be regularly added. Along with that comes a stable player base. I would rather have peace of mind knowing that I can count on new content, and a world where players thrive then just sitting around forever for a group or never having any interaction with other players.
good argument, but patches dont count?
cod has what...5 patches? it wasnt perfect when it came out, but now it rocks.
servers continue to run, that is my "continued support"
some gamers want a "world" to play in. i dont. to each their own

Really comes down to if you don't want to pay then don't play, and please don't waste your time posting meaningless posts because no one really wants to hear you complain how you don't want to pay. Do you really think if you complain enough about montly fees that the company will just decided "oh we better not charge" no they will go ahead with their plans, and then if the game is dieing you might be lucky enough to play for free with ads, but have no player base.
exactly on the if you dont want to pay, then dont play. i totally agree, and so i wont
but these posts arent meaningless, they are just opinions.
oh i know that the fees wont be taken away. i understand business to a degree and the fees are a Very Very smart thing. WoW has some 10/15/13934 million people paying 15 bucks a month, that is amazing income!

im all for a business making money, and for creating a game that does both what the gamers want, and what the stockholders want.

ill just pass on a few.
have fun man!
