Back in March, we took a trip to Double Fine Productions to have a look at the opening sequence from Brutal Legend. This hands-off demo gave us an introduction to the basics of combat (kill demons with weapons) and open-world vehicular exploration (kill demons with an awesome hot rod), but it mainly served as an introduction to the story of a rock-obsessed roadie transported to an alternate realm of heavy metal lore. This past week, we returned to Double Fine to get another look at Brutal Legend, but this time, we had an Xbox 360 controller in hand (though you can also expect a PlayStation 3 version). We got to play through this same intro sequence, plus a few brand new missions from later in the game.

What I got to play this week is essentially the entire demo that will be on the show floor at E3 next Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Coincidentally, this demo is also based on the same Chapter Four level that I had already seen and experienced in my first hands-on, of which I wrote extensive, multiple page impressions back then. But this hands-on would be the first time I checked out how EA's development team is working in an on-the-fly two player option for the on-rails shooter.

it's a nice idea but its best to not stick news posts to just a single thread, because having to read allot of news posts / comments is annoying if its in a single thread

it will become to cluttered and disorganized even if your not including comments
best to leave it in its normal format of posting in hardware, software, video games
