Yeah. I never liked him but people say I'm raciest because he's black. (not trying to make any political comment, just my impression of what he does)

I will drink to that, although I think that reality is somewhere in between what most people made of the article and this.

I think this thread has about as much hope of lasting as a thread with the word "George Bush" in the title would a couple years ago.

The funny thing is that I got a 3.94 avg last year in my masters of fine arts degree in college, all the while gaming for 8+ hours a week. I fail to see my underachievement.

Oh give it up, what he says is common sense so don't hate on him for saying the same thing every parent has ever said who has a child who spends all of his time he can playing games.

Playing games for long periods for a long time = not healthy
Doing Activities once and a while = healthy

And Nitro, If you DID go to college you could very clearly see, NOT EVERYONE is like you. Some people Obsess and others can cope, like you

Please read the article before posting...

no one says you can't game and be smart... this is a "you can't game and not be fat" argument... which is just as irrelevant.

which, by the way, congrats on the 3.94 and the masters.. that's tough stuff.

lol yeah pretty much. plus he's the president. when an entire nation seems to hang on every word you say, you will tend to say exactly what they want to hear to maintain their support.

somehow this makes me think of Harold and Kumar 2, when they end up in George Bushes house and hes smoking weed and Kumar calls him a hypocrite coz in public hes so against it. have this little image in my head of Obama going home after the speech, locking himself in his study and logging online for the next couple of days...

...

im tired.

I agree.

I watched his speech today and never came to the conclusion that he does not like video games and wants to take them away or what ever crazy thoughts you guys have running through your minds. If your overweight (not caused by health issues) then the last thing you need is to spend countless hours on your computer playing games and dabbing the sweat from your skin folds.

Games, like many things, are fine....in moderation.
