Hmmm... I think these games are good concepts, but I think they ruined what could have made them really fun by making it so that you just hold down a button and run forward to jump around buildings and stuff. If somehow they made you control what you did and have to actually use some skill to jump around the buildings and perform your acrobatic stunts, that would be challenging and a lot more fun to me. Although the stuff LOOKED cool, you really didn't have to do much and that kind of bored me.

Not saying it was a bad game or anything, but I think it could have been much better than it is.

Seems like a MASSIVE improvement over the first one, which I didn't bother to finish. Looks like they addressed all the main issues with the first game, I might have to go out and buy this when its out.

Agreed! AC1 was very good. But wasn't impressed by the graphical engine. I cranked up everything to max and still it didn't look that great. But, the gameplay was good.

Wow seriously? I thought the very opposite. The game looked beautiful, amazing graphics, yet the gameplay was repetitive, tedious and outright boring.

The gameplay of AC1 was all about about being a hunter. Read the sign, creep up, strike before the target is even aware. This looks like they have changed it over to a fighting/action game, which still looks cool, but has very little to do with assassination.

That sums up my opinion of the game.

Like I said, if they made the roof jumping and acrobatics to be something that was at least somewhat "manual" where I had to push the buttons to jump and to swing on things, and actually use some skill and timing, then it would have made the game significantly more fun. But since you just have to "hold A and press forward" then it wasn't any fun at all, and the fighting wasn't that great.
