You won't regret it. I bought Mass Effect for $20 about 6 months ago, and it was good enough that I'll be buying Mass Effect 2 very soon after it comes out, probably for full price.

As far as graphics go, I don't care if either Mass Effect 2 or Bioshock 2 haven't upgraded graphics at all, the games are both fun and that is all that matters (to me).

I can definatly see a difference in both games, they aren't any huge leaps but Bioshock 2 especially looks more polished a well rounded than the first. I really didn't care for Mass Effect myself too much.

Great...this means they spent even more budget and time on the graphics and even more less on the actual writing of the plot lines...

...and there is a difference...but it is so slight that I don't think it really matters. The only screen shot that really stands out as being much better is the one with the fire reflecting off the guy with the pointy nosed mask.

i think u mean mass effect

Every game that utilizes the unreal 3 engine that ive seen has those popping textures. From The Last remnant, to Gears Of War. It just reduces initial loading time. I dont mind it.

at this point in the timeline of the current console lineup we really arent going to be seeing any huge graphical improvements from year to year. Atleast from the 360. We may see some slight breakthroughs on the PS3 once developers put in the effort to do so. But the difference here is extremely minimal. The unreal3 engine atleast has already found its peak.

I would have to agree that the lighting and shadows are huge improvements. Seems like the textures have a lot more af on them.

I see an improvement which is good, but nothing to be all gun ho about. In reality its all about the gameplay anyways.

Mass Effect was a good port because they actually made the controls work and fixed problems in the 360 version?
