I can verify what this post says is BS. My settings run fine at 1920x1200. I play on a 24" BenQ241vw widescreen and the game looks incredible. There is definitely some tweaking that needs to be done in both the nvidia control panel and also some manual changes that need done in the configuration file located at my documents/arma2 but once you set what you want and hit read only it's smooth sailing. I was very skeptical of this game given the spotty reviews around the net, but based on some very nice screenshots and fan opinions I decided to try it out. I'm glad I did because the game is the best fps/ war simulation I've ever played.

That's because the game just came out...

The low fps issues are because of some bugs in the software imo, the game does not look THAT good, crysis is better...

When you play this you are going to run through with bad settings on a crappy server and you're going to think it's not all that great. Then later or the next day you're going to try it out again and you'll trip over a decent sever with a dark night-time setting and planes and bombs and tanks lighting up huge rifts of dustclouds and chopper dirt and your jaw is going to drop to your knees. Yep, it's that impressive. Lots o fun to be had. It's worth an hour of goofing with tweaks.

DX10 would have been good if Nvidia didn't tell microsoft that it's cards weren't capable of all of DX10's original features.

Thus, DX10.1 = what DX10 was supposed to be.

I can confirm that. DEMO includes a built-in benchmark under Single Missions.

From other people's (that have the demo) impressions this review is way off.

Not impressed with the graphics really. Crysis looks better than this and it was made almost 2 yrs ago.

As for gameplay, sounds like OCN is enjoying it.
