what the hell is the point in rendering at double your screen's resolution and then scaling down?

HOW THE HELL COULD PCGS MAKE SUCH A HUGE MISTAKE.

There is no "armed assault 2"

There is ArmA 2. It's much different.

What about Armed assault?
No. It was ArmA: Armed Assault, and ArmA: Combat Operations

ArmA is Latin for arms, weapons, armaments.. It's not Short for Armed Assault.

fillrate is how much is rendered. 50 percent is 1280x720, 100 percent is (1872.. some CRT resolution) 200 percent is QSXVGA resolution.

If you want to set it to something reasonable, set
render_w
render_h
to your w and h of your monitor
