Consoles have a much bigger market and make way more money, than on the PC. Just wait for BF3, EA/DICE hired BF2 mod teams to help with it. It be awesome!

I don't think they are giving PC Gamers the shaft. They are probably adding more features to the PC version which will take longer to develop.

Yes 1942 started it. In fact, it was the first game of its kind ever. 1943 will likely be retarded if it's starting off on console and not being ported to PC for a while. The battlefield series started on PC, it should continue on PC.

Some of you are missing the point, yes, they delayed the pc version so they can do a better job of making it for the pc. The problem is that it should be THE OTHER WAY AROUND. This implies that 1943 has been a console game from the very start with the pc as an afterthought and a port. It used to be that these things started out as PC games and if they were good they would port it to the consoles! No offense to console games here but lets face the facts, console games are a different genre, they have a different style, and unfortunately that style kinda clashes with taking a console game and putting it on the pc. It is easier to get good quality in both versions when taking a pc game and changing it for console. I'm not saying one is better than the other, just that they are very different and it is harder to port one way than the other.

It's obvious that games make more money on consoles. Less customer service required too I would imagine (less hacking, less configuration problems, etc.). I agree that it sucks for PC gamers to be an after though, but I understand why even if I don't agree.

Its all about money, consoles are the mainstream now days so that's what they prioritize.
