And the new PSP looks like trash. Uncomfortable trash.

I bought myself a pandora TOOL battery instead...
And I hope they make a 4000mAh battery for the PSP Go if they want to sustain the battery time.

I'd rather OC the PSP -2000 when the Go firmwares are coming. It may be a way to use the 480MHz firmware on the PSP-2000.
I run my PSP at 90MHz while listening to MP3 though...

yep. as Omega said its not really overclocking, the CPU was always capable of 333mhz it was just clocked down coz, realistically, you dont need 333mhz on the PSP.

but its simple change of a registry entry with CFW and you're done. some ROMs and homebrew require 333mhz otherwise they dont run too well.

Nintendo did something similar with the DSi.

DS CPU: 67MHz arm9 + 33mhz arm7
DS Ram: 4MB

DSi CPU: 133mhz arm9 + unknown arm7
DSi Ram: 16MB

which is a HUGE upgrade that goes unadvertised. Even though much of that is needed for the browser/camera/firmware, games will definately start using that extra horsepower.

Also, for the first time, they have 256mb of internal storage. Meaning developers can start selling their games without space for savespace, making them cheaper ROM chips.

Why would you want your saves to be only on the unit itself? Savestates are only a few kb in size; the ICs cost next to nothing.

They can't do this anyway, older DS models obviously don't have any storage.

333 is the stock speed for the PSP-1000.

I hard modded mine for free, sure there is a chance of it exploding, but it was worth it.
