The Sims 2 expansions, although many, often added some decent and drastically different gameplay elements. One thing was clear though, the expansions always felt like new and additional content.

With the Sims 3, in many ways it is less complete than the Sims 1 or 2 in terms or the variety and items they offer. In the case of the Sims 3, I think the expansions packs are going to be more focused on filling in missing pieces, rather than expanding the game with additional pieces.

I mean the Sims franchise has already seen things like apartments and hobbies, and massive career ladders. Why they removed all that depth in the latest rendition is beyond me (as a gamer). As a businessman it makes perfect sense.

I think "Aventure" is probably another location. Unless their "D" button only works half the time.
