The new ones are much quieter now, my sisters old 360 RRoD'ed and she got a new one from warranty, the new one is much quieter (HD 3850 at 90% Fanspeed vs 70% Fanspeed)

He's a busy man, he's probably like most americans, and has a lot on his plate. Making 360 Laptops, and dealing with the whole family and all. I would forget if I had a million projects, and family to attend to.
