Its a clone, so what. Some of my favorite games are clones of more popular games. I mean if a concept is good, why not run with it. As long as you don't infringe anyone's IP, who cares? More games equals more choice, which in the end equals a better environment for gamers.

Valve/TF2 doesn't own those sounds or hold any license over them. The only studio on Earth I've ever heard of creating their own sound effects was the old Rareware lab in Europe. Every other company buys sound FX DVD's loaded with thousands of sounds. If you pay careful attention in movies, music, and gaming, you'll find the amount of sound-repeats is huge.
