because the console price is too much. It's the other way around.

the decline of pc games at retail is a reslut from gamestop and microsoft. Here is a few link more links. Basicly big bussines wants to destory pc gaming. micorsoft has already lost billions on consoles do they are trying to force pc gamers into buying consoles. EB games or Gamestop they don't make money on new games. it is why pc gamers are treated like dirt. They make their games off of the use game market.

In fact they had epic games and lionheadstrash talking pc gaming

Getting a PC for gaming (That will play most games on medium or even high settings) can be much cheaper then getting a console (especially at release) AND a computer for word processing/internet browsing. I doubt that anyone with a console doesn't already have a $300+ dollar computer, and with the extra $300 from the console you can put together a decent game computer for $600. Plus you save $10 per game (Unless activision actually manages to raise the standard... **** activision).

People only write articles like this becuase they are bord. PC gaming is NOT in trouble. Never will be IMO. If PC gaming was in trouble then so would massive companies like ATI,NVIDIA,AMD,Nvidia because most of there product base revolves around PC gaming/ Pc enthusiasts. No Pc gaming = MASSIVE revenue loss for Pc hardware manufacturers. Do you think they will let that happen ? Nope.

the world does not play on consoles they play on the pc.

that is why games like starcrat,daiblo,sims,wow,guildwars,runescape,nacy dew,civliation,linage,eve etc are more and sell alot more than top console games.

pc gaming is a 60 dallar industry. Pc gaming is the back bone of the pc industry.
