well in sony's case, if they said they'd cut prices on ps3, they'd have tons of unsold units... thats why slim release+price cut was so secretive.

I don't see the point of a this right now unless its cheap and they plan to keep the 360 for at least 2 more years.

naw dude, thats just a lame cover up.

You can already get bluray drives for PC's, so this has nothing to do with it.

In fact, MS would rather no one made PC games anymore, just 360 games. So why would they talk about a bluray for the PC when they don't make hardware like that for PC's?

They are probably thinking about a bluray addon for the 360, most likely a usb product, unless they made an sata adaptor for it and the harddrive.
