this is stupid, since you can buy internal blu ray drives then i really dont see the point to get an external drive for your pc, and you might as well buy a blu ray player for what M$ would charge you.

What does this have to do with the PC again?
The topic of discussion at that point was on how the Xbox 360 is being marketed as a home media center, so when Ballmer said "blu-ray drives as accessories" he meant accessories to the 360, not accessors for the 360. Basically when he said "drives" he meant to say "players", as in standalone players to accompany the 360 in your home theater.
