And for past and future arguments that the Wii isn't powerful enough and what not, I would like to turn your attention to the PS2 and GameCube. Now, which one was the better sales wise of the two? The PS2, even though the GameCube it self had better hardware inside that little blue (or black... or whatever color it was) lunch box, compared to the PS2 at least. So to anyone who says that better hardware makes a better console, just remember who won the last generation, and the generation before it, and so on. It's always been the underpowered console that won.

eventualy Ill help them out little. I still need to get one. Im just another Zelda fan. which is prolly the only reason the system is sold to the older crowd. older fans. but im still pissed that zelda hasnt gone a similar direction as Final Fantasy has, but we'll see. Nintendo is made for the kids. Ill keep a PC to keep me game sane

I'd hardly call that market saturation. The simple fact is that nobody really cares about the Wii anymore. The Wii's massive success was the result of traditional non-gamers being attracted by the fad. The only market that is saturated is the yuppie market. Unfortunately for Nintendo this has been their primary demographic. Now all they have left is the little kid demographic, so they are right back to where they were with the gamecube, only worse because they've been ignoring their loyal fanbase by pushing endless shovelware.

I gave the Wii the most objective chance I could muster and I just don't like it mainly because of the control scheme.

Most hardcore gamers hated the Wii.

This is what happens when you ignore the foundation that your company was built on.
Casuals will always buy fads then once it dies down or doesn't appeal to them anymore they leave it, leaving your company without consumer market. The only market that is constant is the "hardcore" market (Foundation).

Honestly I think all the gaming systems have worn there welcome out. I mean seriously we would be talking about the xbox 720 and ps4 if it wasn't for the so called recession. Freaking ridiculous. We need a console refresher.'
note: I have not bought a console system since Nintendo 64.

The only reason Nintendo made the Wii how it is is because the Gamecube failed.
The Gamecube was cheap, powerful, and had many first-party games for every genre of video games. No one bought it, and they decided to try something new, and it worked.

I only bought it for Zelda, once I finally got bored of beating it for the 20th time I put it away and got an Xbox 360. Once the next Zelda comes out, Wii comes out too.
