A lot of good games were on the PS2. Now with the PSP and PS3, the number of good titles is much less. Developers rather just make a cross-platform game and release it for all consoles rather than put their hopes into one console only. Compound that with the PS3's more difficult game development, and it makes sense why there are not many good games.

Not to create another argument on here, but if all of us who bought the ps3 when it was first released are suckers...why are we not complaining about playing ps2 games.

It is true that the game library is small but isn't that always the way it is when a new system is released. Look at Super Nintendo and the commercial genesis came out with, who won that war? Also the same thing happened when ps2 first came out, the library was quite small and look at what we want now, the ps3 to play our great ps2 games.

I like my ps3 much better then my xbox360 and when given the choice will go for the ps3 version.

Even PCSX own website says its not 100% working correctly according to it's key. So don't tell me what to do when its coming from the source.

http://pcsx2.net/compat.php?&c=f&s1=...&s4=1&s5=1&p=3

And incase you can't read the key properly here it is.

Playable:You can get from 'new game' to 'end credits'. This is regardless of FPS, it simply means you could with a great deal of patience, complete the game! eg: Slow, but stable!

PCSX2 maybe the best emulator but it doesn't mean its good.
I never said all games will run, learn how to read and comprehend! PCSX2 is the best emulator at the moment and it is beyond good imho. Lots of great games can played from start to finish and this is a fact, whether you like it or not. If you don't like PCSX2 then DON'T USE IT! End of story.

PCSX2 will keep getting better and better with each revision with its daily updates. It is one of the most advanced emulators to date. Playing Final Fantasy series at 720p resolution and higher (up to 1080p or 1920x1080 resolution), and play game at speed over 100 fps, you just simply can not beat that or do that on the PS3!
