Default [Examiner]MS forcefully removes private chat from upcoming titles

Quote:
Do you like to use the party chat option on your Xbox 360? Well, if you do, you may soon find yourself being forced out of using that option. Microsoft appears to be offering developers the option to negate the private chat option the Xbox 360 offers.

That is misleading as hell. They are giving the ability to the developer to use if they want to, they are by no means removing it or forcefully removing it.

The writer of this article is an idiot.

I think it is a awesome idea, not being to hear my enemy speak ruined a lot of games for me on my 360. Chrome Hounds (Did I spell that right?) for example had you go around and capture communication towers to keep in range for your radio if I remember correctly. So when party chat came out people would jump in it to avoid capturing towers as it was suddenly useless. It also removed the need for a "Commander" mech in some scenarios.

A+ to MS thinking about it finally.

I'm getting tired of these purposefully misleading titles as people try to sway OCN one way or another. Microsoft is in no way forcing it upon titles.

Prime example would be the game Chromehounds. You're team was suppossed to work together to capture radio towers to keep communication with your entire squad up. In 2v2 battles and recently with the party feature, a major part of the game became completely unnecessary.
