I think the Fallout universe is pretty neat with it's combination of a post-apocalyptic setting and 50's Americana. I don't know if I would want to be immersed in it for extended periods of time because, well, it's a little unpleasant. For an MMO I still prefer the colorful and cartoony environments Blizzard has created for WoW.

Im not sure if its the right game for an MMO... COOP FO3 would be cool kinda like Borderlands.

Haven't all other FPS mmos been failures in the past? (MMO being 100+ people per server)

Imagine VATS MMO-style. Every time anyone online used VATS, would everybody's game freeze?

Fallout isn't an FPS. Fallout 3 had an FPS view but it was not an FPS. Fallout 1 and 2 were staunch RPGs. So this is not going to be an FPS-MMO failure.
