Features that have been in the game since its inception are now gone? Features that most of us love about the series are gone? For what? Because all they care about is money. The xbox version should be a PC port not the other way around. Better yet, the game should be optimized for each platform to take full advantage of each's capabilites and weaknesses. Now we are stuck playing a game that could be better, but is not because some bastards were too stingy to optimize it.

One of the most played PC games ever is now becoming an xbox port and you are happy about that? You don't see a trend? Whats the matter with you. Are we supposed to be happy and cheers over getting the cold shoulder? There will be no PC games eventually, and that is the point that I stop playing new games.

I don't care about other games. Bioshock didn't have multiplayer. So in contrast MW2 even having multiplayer makes it a huge accomplishment

Let's go back in time and think about every game for PC that has "custom stuff like mouse control, text chat in game, and graphics settings." Wait, EVERY GAME IN PC EXISTENCE has had that. I don't know how black and white that statement can get as to saying "**** you PC, this is a port, we just want to beat around the bush with stupid, inane statements."

I'm not just defending IW. And if you read any of my other posts, you'd realize that I agree with the discontent against the dedicated server stuff.
But, threads like these are just half minded. I'm not 'defending' IW, they probably don't even read half this crap especially on a website like OCN of all places. I think PC gamers should receive premium content over consoles since we pay much more for our gaming rigs than console gamers ever will.

I don't really think dedicated server issue is that bad, do you really think they would speed time and money on making crap servers?.

they are going to make sure the servers they have are good other wise they are going to get a bad rep and bad rep = bad for future biz.

and as for the kicking out of ppl they would have just got sick of the abuse and know one has played it yet i bet you will all be surprised on how good there servers will actually be.

They're not making any servers. Just a matchmaking service.

Dedicate servers are a major issue to anybody interested in community gaming. I have met nearly every online friend (and some I have eventually met in real life) through dedicated community servers. Not through matchmaking me against people who are similar to my 'skill level'.
