Again - I agree with the discontent about the lack of dedicated servers. But IMO, I'm not simply going to pass up what could be an amazing sequel just because of no dedicated servers.

Well, people haven't had this problem at all with games like Battlefield. Dice specifically makes it so servers can only be rented out with EXCLUSIVE providers. WHICH IS COMPLETE HYPOCRISY, yet everyone all of sudden treats them like heroes of the PC gaming community because of IW's decision not to put dedicated servers in.
Dice's little exclusive providing crap can fall into the same exact category, but I don't see people doing the backflips they are doing to MW2 as they are to BF:BC2.

Again I agree as I myself have played and beat the game already. The games get leaked both online and via ebay all the time. But, there is a massive difference such as the mass console bannings and lack of online.

CoD is a staunch competitive/multiplayer series for many people, so the removal of dedicated server support from MW2 isn't just modifying a feature nobody uses; it is removing the one aspect of MW2 that would have made it worthy of the COD moniker.

Sure, some people still buy COD for single player, but I'm sure the numbers pale in comparison to online and competitive play.

probably have alotta ppl just pirating the single player with the loss of the servers

will be interesting to see how the pc sales go

The problem is, they replaced one aspect of MW2 and inserted another. How do you know if its 'good' or not? For all anyone or myself knows, the multiplayer could be pretty damn awesome and the P2P thing will be your last thought as you're raping people. It could also be as horrible as poop, but you then have to ask yourself is it because of the lack of dedicated server. We can't do that because there is no game yet to judge!

I'm not trying to.... win you over to buy the game. Again - you do what you want with your money, I'll do what I want with mine. But you're posting on an internet forums. I'm questioning your reasoning, yet you jump to conclusions about me that I disagree with everything you say.

I'm finding the lack of logic behind the fact that just because there is no dedicated, means the game is 'insta-fail' as someone put it frankly earlier.
