this game is going to be brilliant and 1 of the best games to be released this year just my opinion.

What I'm most upset about is the lack of spines on some people these days. If you signed that petition, or spoke against the game, you should NOT be planning on buying this game before some revisions are made. If you do, and go back on your word you're telling IW that your word means nothing, you like being treated like crap and want to pay for it! Come on guys, try to follow through on something.

What does MW2 even offer for $60? A short singleplayer similar to MW and a dumbed down multiplayer?

Also remember you can't resell this game, it's tied to Steam.

It's release date is push forward until proper version arrives when you can actually manage it during multiplayer then... Soooo that would probably be around 2011.

I'm guessing XBox and PS3 sales will be through the roof. PC sales will be sluggish and quite lower than normal. IW will claim people pirated the game instead of buying it and announce that they will no longer support the PC market. It will mark the end of an era.

COD4 was crap with dedicated servers. It unfathomable how much fail is going to be in this game. I love how they pull this **** about dedicated servers a month before the release, almost to say "lolz, it's too late to do anything about it!" It sucks though, most people don't even care about this sort of thing. And because most of us at ocn are fps trolls, we are the % that actually do care about dedicated servers. Consolefags shell out $60 to play 3 hours of single player and multiplayer every now and again. I'm not even going to pirate this game for single player, that's how disgusted I am.

I wish the consoles were just eliminated. Worst idea in the world: a ****ty computer that will be outdated in a few months (if not already) that is made on a platform specific to that company that forces players to pay to play FPS games using an analogue stick + buttons in substitution for a mouse and keyboard.

I say bring back COD2 and UO. Remember, those were back before IW was releasing the series 6 months apart.

The sad thing is, they are not going to make a loss because of the popularity on consoles.

Oh well, they are going to loose 80% of the PC gaming support for it.

the only reason they didnt have killcam is because the server operators are idiots and make up stupid rules eliminating half the perks in the game, this hopefully wont happen without dedi servers in mw2..alot of css servers are unmanaged and do perfectly fine exclusively on vac..it should be nice to try out a non discriminating server environment where the server admins arent idiots and kick for the wrong reasons

If the game were to be properly balanced and have controversial perks removed, then server administrators would be more lenient when it comes to things like custom rules.
