Storyline wise, Contact Harvest was first, then Fall of Reach, then Halo.

But the actual game of Halo was released before the book Fall of Reach, which was released before Contact Harvest.

I want to know more about that spartan laser-looking carbine/needler thing. The talk of drop-in/drop-out co-op is getting me excited as well (a much needed feature). I cannot wait for the beta. I also can't wait to see what this thing looks like without the blurry, it will be Bungie's second-gen game for the 360. Perhaps it could make Halo 3 look like Halo: CE compared to Halo 2.

I think that they did. But did they not get better ones when they returned to the ONI(Or was it OSI?) mountain/structure that the covenant was trying to get into?

Honestly the halo books are some of the best books I've ever read, I love the storyline.

The games can kiss my ass though :P
