Here's hoping that if Treyarch makes it, they stick to the PC model that they had for World at War, not switch over to IW.net and the garbage they're pulling with MW2.

Yeah, COD W@W is a pretty sweet game. Maps are cool, spam is lower. I hope treyarch gets the nod as well. But they may drop them because world at war didn't sell nearly as well as COD4.

So CoD7 is coming out next year and IW will be reeling in money like nobody's business off of our ignorant 10 year old console gaming counterparts... great.

I think we've all heard enough of Call of Duty and Infinity Ward (15 threads about it on the first page of video game news). Lets give it a rest folks.

As long as they deliver quality games, then there is no problem "milking" the series.

It becomes an issue when they "milk" a series/fanbase when the games don't deliver.

Also, if it is a Cold War game, hopefully there is a Korean War scenario and a Vietnam setting. That would be the best!

i agree. considering everything at release (of WaW) and with the new MW2 info, i think Treyarch stand to at least soothe some of the upset PC players if they do. after all, SP wise WaW was pretty good, if not the best in the series IMO.

still, Activision is milking this way too much - it'll be like Medal of Honor in a few years.

The only gripe I had with W@W before it was released was that it went back to WW2 but after playing it, I really enjoyed it. Single player was longer and the story was pretty good. MP was decent as ever and that built in "Friends" feature was a nice touch. Also the Zombies, can't forget about the zombies.
