The 1,000 cars on the disc should keep racing fans happy for some time, but even when they've exhausted everything Gran Turismo 5 has to offer, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi told Autoweek that next entry, presumably titled Gran Tursismo 6, shouldn't take as long to arrive.

"You won't have to wait as long as you did for GT5," said Yamauchi. "GT5 represents a whole new operating system. GT6 is just new apps that run on the GT5 system."

It seems a little premature to already start requesting features for Gran Turismo 6...
