Well, you have to admit the lack of PSN integration is a bit funk in alot of games. Xbox Live is alot smoother imo.

Blame EA. Remember? They threatened to take their ball home because their shoddy coding meant a certain PS3 update would bust half their titles?

No actually it was named the Xbox because of directX.
XP is an abbreviation of Windows eXPress.

doesn't really matter. I didn't say I blamed Sony. Regardless of who's fault it is, it doesn't change the fact that PSN is a bit bumpy when doing the whole 'let's get together and play thing'.

With the 360 - I turn on the console, click on my friends name, and press X or join game in progress. Immediatly I'm in his/their game or lobby playing or you simply hit the Xbox button invite your friend/party.
With the PS3, you typically have to wait for a friend to invite you manually through the game (not the XMB) or you have to start the game manually, wade through the menus, and invite someone yourself.

I think it is totally bull that EA's the one that screwed it all up. But that doesn't make it any better

Innovation or not, value makes popular, fun games that people buy and enjoy even with their low standards. As long as its fun, ill play it. You don't need difficult to work with hardware to be innovating anyhow.

Well, EA had no problem porting The Orange Box to the PS3.

Valve needs to quit the kiddy games like TF2 and concentrate on Half Life.

Come on, though, TF2 just plain sucks compared to TF Classic It may be aged, but at least it doesn't try to be "cool" with lame character personas

different strokes for different folks I suppose
I never got into TF2, though - I did find the characters extremely funny and loveable.

aw valve. you love to try and justify not trying to please all of your customers rather than actually putting in the effort. other developers thrive on the PS3. theres no reason you cant. deal with it.
