Agreed, this is primarily the sole reason why I'm not buying the game is because they hiked the original PC price up 10 dollars and then had an announcement for it like they're the big alpha males or some stupid ****. Games are over priced, honestly the last game I paid a full 50$ for was Crysis because I liked it THAT much, and that was december 08

Most PC users aren't going to buy it....yeah right The vast majority probably don't even know what a dedicated server is, so not having them is hardly a concern. Not to mention when the reviews start coming out, and all your mates are talking about how good it is, how can you not buy it?

Although, I could fit into the not buying it crowd, but not out of protest. More out of a serious lack of funds

You know, I keep seeing that, "Oh the majority of people whining are hardcore gamers and thats just a small percentage." Just wait until these "casual" gamers load up COD4 and its a lag fest with a lot of limitations, its not easy for people to adjust quickly and some rather just walk away from it. So expect a lot of copies to be thrown up on ebay or other places. Then again, it may sell very well and people will enjoy it. Never know, never know.
