Ditto on the Crysis for sheer beauty.

Bioshock for the creativity, and setting.

Half-Life and Half-Life 2. The breakthrough graphics (for their time) topped with the astounding storyline made for one of the best gaming experiences ever.

SimCity 2000: When it first came out the graphics and gameplay were amazing.

X-Wing: Being a Star Wars fan, this game was great fun for a while.

Duke Nukem 3D: One of the first games we used to play over a network. My Dad had a home network with 3 computers (1 for me, 1 for my brother, and 1 for my Dad). We used to have hours of fun tying up the network playing Duke Nukem 3D deathmatches.

Grand Theft Auto 3: I was a fan of the first GTA, and going from that to GTA 3 made me go woah!.

Oblivion: I was unsure if I'd like the game when I first bought it, but its now my favorite game.

And Tie Fighter! Those games were EPIC.

There were a few missions that almost made me slam my fist through a bulky CRT though....

Oh I loved Tie Fighter, perhaps even more than X-Wing since playing an Imperial being on the side of Vader and Emperor was funner. Though the games were indeed frustrating at times. I especially hated the escorting missions where certain ships or cargo containers had to survive.

Star wars Knights of the Old Republic. I don't know why I loved this game so much but I can play still today and enjoy it.

The original Halo CE. That ending was incredible, the storyline, the feeling of success, the multiplayer lan parties. Man I miss some Halo CE.

Super Smash Bros. Melee. I played it with a few friends. The rest is history.

Yeah, not exactly a "whoa" reaction, but The Darkness had me swearing and quite intense during a few parts of it's story. Namely just before you go to hell (both times). And the ending made me very happy

Condemned Criminal Origins. The graphics were sick, and I yelled out loud at some of the scary moments.
