Half-Life 2 when you have to cross the underside of the bridge and the train comes rushing over top of you. Scared the shiesty outta me the first time I played through that part.

I could name a few games that made me go "Whoa"....but its probably not the same "Whoa" you guys are talking about :P

Anyway, I'd have to say that the first game ever to make me go "Whoa", was the first time I saw my brother playing "DooM" back when I was about 6 years old. Man, the cyberdemon's howl and clanking hoofs rang in my ears for nights to come! It was fun back then. *Wave of nostalgia*
