The nuke in Crysis multiplayer: it was literally "mindboggling", because I had 5.1 force feedback headphones.

I've not played many FPS games, though, so wouldn't know about HL or CoD.

I'd have to say Shadow of the Colossus made me go "whoa!". That entire game is absolutely amazing! My biggest "whoa" moments were fighting the 5th? (the one with the really long arm) and right before the last colossus. The latter probably being the saddest moment I have seen in a video game.

I agree. The first few minutes I played the demo I'm sure I was drooling on my keyboard.

(And then after that the level of awe swiftly dropped.)

Crysis, when I realized that the tree's were falling down as crabs ran across the sand as I danced past bullets and gracefully broke the N. Koreans necks.

Bioshock- I haven't really been into gaming for a couple years; Right at the beginning after the plane crash, the graphics literally blew my mind. I seriously though that it was all pre-rendered video and just sat there until I realized that I was actually in the game!!!! I've probably only played about 40 minutes so far, but it's definitely by far the most immersive/frightening/deep game that I've ever played.

I agree. When I first booted it up and started playing (I liked SP aside from the horrid ending) I was like WOAH at the graphics and I was only playing them on medium. ;(
