Default Mega Man 9

I'm surprised that there wasn't a thread for this game. As a retro gamer and a huge classic Mega Man fan, I am incredibly stoked for this game. Sure, it's not what fans were expecting plotwise for Mega Man 9 (most wanted 9 to explain the creation of Zero and the fate of the original Mega Man) but I am glad that everything shown so far it true to the NES titles.

I am more hyped about this game than any other at the moment

I don't get it.....this is a NEW megaman? Looks to me like all they did was dig up some old megaman resources and get ONE guy in the company to spend about 2 weeks to make a new game. I mean seriously with all the technology we have today we get more complex games than megaman popping up by the hundreds on BS websites all over the net. What's the file size on a game like, like 10mb? I dunno if my hard drive could take all that.

Zero was never in MegaMan.
Zero was in MegaMan X. Completely different games.

Dr. Wily mentioned that he was creating something more powerful than Bass at the end of Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters (arcade game with a limited release) and a silhouette of Zero was shown in the ending. A shadowy figure of Dr. Wily was also shown in a flashback during Zero's storyline of Mega Man X4.

Zero was thought to be the bridge between the end of classic series and the beginning X series (based on fan speculation).

Always loved Mega Man, especially the X series, but they got crazy hard for me towards 7-9 so I just haven't played anything since. Don't even know where the story is at right now.

I'd like it if the old classics came to the Live Arcade on Xbox 360. That'd be nice.

If you're dying to play an old Mega Man, can download Mega Man 7 (known as Rockman 7) for PC here.

I still enjoy playing classic games now and again, but it's hard to deal with the graphics for that long.
