any1? there is an option for joystick in the control menu, although idk if that would be the right setting, i am able to move around with the 360 contoller, although my actions r limited, and whenever i try to change the settings in the menu, the triggers on the 360 controller are not recognized.

It should be.... Oblivion controls were designed for the XBox (which is why the hotkey controls are limited on the PC)

does any1 know how to specifically set up the 360 controller, whenever i go to teh controller setup, i am unable to map any of the triggers or control sticks on the 360 controller, and i know they work cuz i use them 4 other games.

If you get Pinnacle Game Profiler, you will be able to set up a game profiler. They currently have a pre-configured setup as well.
