Default MGS4 Graphics / Story line

I gotta say DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I played #1 before and after watching my friend beating MGS4 on normal. I've got to say. loving the render clips compared to movie clips. Also the detail is just so nice, he is running just in 720p and the detail of everything is just so big and nice. Last but not least, The game play. Of course all MGS have good game play but this one has the best in any MGS I've played before

from a viewers perspective it looks pretty hard to play. but its actually quite easy compared to other games in the series. i loved it though. extremely cinematic. such a high quality game. it's in a league of its own compared to most games in the industry these days.

I totally agree with this statement. Pre-rendered cutscenes detach me from the in-game characters by presenting me with idealistic doppelgangers rather than the characters themselves. After a pre-rendered cutscene I always feel like "oh crap, back to these graphics." My brain, on a subconscious level, can't make the association and connection between the pre-rendered characters and the in-game models.

2 more mgs games are on the way. wohoo.. you will know this if you play the game and pay attention and listen to the story with nahomi. when you meet her after you fight prayamantis. there are two grey screens where she shows the mgs game line. and in the grey boxes it says in construction.

Oh yeah, did I mention that it's totally amazing as well?

Most amazing game ever. Like, if you step back, and look at the serie as a whole, it's a freaking masterpiece. If this was a movie or a book, it would be a masterpiece, too. Everything was well thought out.

And, I highly doubt the serie will continue. There isn't much more ground to cover. MGS4 was a complete success, the ending was glorious, there is nothing left to say, nor do. I think making another game would be pushing it, and doing it for money instead of creating a masterpiece.

It's the kind of serie that will get a remake in a couple console generations, that's for sure, but I believe it should be untouched. The _ONLY_ thing I can think about as the next "two games" are the two games that appeared before MGS on PSX. I haven't personnaly played them; but I've read their stories, at least. They could be inserted between MGS3 and MGS1, in the storyline, but they just can't make anything before/after.
