Default LOTRO restarts my PC O.o

LOTRO was rebooting my system constantly, I play at ultra high at around 50fps, my cpu overclock is stable, my memory is stable, my graphic card is not overclocked. And oddly it always did it in a certain forest lol. Could it be my HDD?

I remember that the forest level is very intensive. Lower each overclock until it doesn't happen, then you have your problem...

But surely 4 hours of orthos stable can cover that much intensive gaming.

Meh, sometimes. I ran orthos for a few hours on 4.0GHZ on a Pentium 4, and I would bsod or restart in most games. But when in doubt, lower it. You don't want to risk breaking something. Just start slowly lowering the CPU and see if it helps. A full restart seems like a power (voltage) or CPU error. I think that most Memory glitches would bsod. Since it's simply restarting, something is too hot, or doesn't have enough voltage, or is simply not prepared to run that high.

Is 4 hours enough? I think you need at least 6 or more for it to be stable...
