Ok I'll be getting a 8gb Apple Touch sometimes this month. Now I think I want to jailbreak, and I hear this voids the warranty. Is this reversible?
__________________And also what are the best games/apps out for the Touch? I'll be getting the 2nd gen Touch that was just released. Is there a way to not pay for games that are for sale in the Apple store?

You can jailbreak it, but it will "void" your warranty. You can always restore it in iTunes and you'll be back to normal.

Well if I jailbreak, what games would I be getting with it? Is it like a custom firmware compared to the PSP?

Jailbreaking doesn't come with specific apps, but you have access to all the homebrew apps people have made for the touch that aren't available in the applestore. Apple doesn't have control over apps you can get from jailbreaking, so you could get something that replaces the iPod functionality if you wanted to. That's basically the entire point of jailbreaking. You can still get plenty of apps free on the Application Store, but I doubt many games are free.

Have you jailbroken yet?
__________________I personally havent gotten my itouch yet but it appears that when you jailbreak, it puts an installer on your main screen. From there, you can navigate and choose what to install. http://www.tuaw.com/2007/10/29/insta...nd-ipod-touch/

Free App Store games are illegal.
Most of the games are being made there anyway, and not in Cydia or Installer. I have a 16GB iPod Touch and I will be able to help you with anything you require ![]()
