Default Assassin's Creed Graphics Problem

Well...I just got assassin's creed...let's just say I love this game.
Played it at my cuz's house on PS3 and I loved it...so I got it on PC.
I'm getting alot of graphical artifacts..updated nvidia drivers and tried on both dx10 and dx9..
both are horrible...system specs in sig...
Some suggestions please guys, thanks

Well, your graphics card is overclocked, so that may be the reason. You should try playing with stock settings and see how it goes.

Always lower the clock first and see how that helps. If that's your cards stock clocks, you've got a bad card.

yeah... when you occed your card ... did you use atitool or som other GPU stress tester like nvidia test etc to scan for artifacts.... It seems like youve gone higher than your current voltage will let you go stably....

This is a factory overclocked card..
I have 0 problems with other games...great performance tbh.
Still try downgrade to stock clocks?

uninstall your drivers, go into safe mode and do a dcpro. then reinstall. after that, reinstall the game. If that doesn't fix your problem you might have a bad card.

Have you even checked your temps? Have you ran the ati tool artifact scan..? You may just have to lock your fan at a higher RPM, as the auto function may not be kicking in..

Assassin's Creed is really sensitive to video card oc, if you tried the other methods and still have problems, just downclock the video card oc a little bit. Especially when you're in Jeruselum. I played it on my oc'd old X1950GT, it was stable for all other games, but I have to downclock it to almost stock in order to play AC.
